Former Vice President, Global Commercial Services for Procter & Gamble sees the company as the system of record for detecting “signals from the noise” from today’s data overload.

Walter previously served as the executive lead overseeing all Commercial Services IT across Procter & Gamble’s Global Business Services (GBS), and brings over 30 years of experience in both fast moving consumer goods and enterprise IT services to Signals Analytics.

Over the course of his 26-year career at P&G, Walter oversaw the selection and implementation of core enterprise technologies to serve teams across sales, marketing, consumer and business analytics divisions. His hands-on experience and comprehensive insight will be leveraged across the company, and he will work closely with Signals Analytics’ executive leadership to impact product strategy, business development efforts and market expansion initiatives. “Signals Analytics is empowering the intelligence-driven organization through its unique approach of detecting signals from the noise of today’s barrage of unstructured and unconnected data” said Walter, “The company provides a powerful, cross-functional and unified platform for brand executives to make commercial decisions throughout the product lifecycle with a higher degree of success.”

He has previously served on the GS1 US Board of Governors including as Chair for their technology committee and is a trustee and treasurer of the non-profit Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. Prior to joining P&G as an IT manager in 1990, Walter worked for Monsanto Co. from 1988-90.
